One spot to try is Rocklands Farm Winery, just a quick 30-minute drive away in Poolesville! This spot is not your average winery. It’s a working farm that does seasonal meat CSAs as well, so be sure to learn more about that during your visit. 

The wine selection features many different varietals with options for any palate. You’ll find crisp whites, bold reds, bubbly for celebrating, and a dry rose that is perfect for any season. They also make orange wine, which is unique for this area. The winery does have limited indoor seating, but there is plenty of green space to enjoy the great outdoors. Just bring a blanket, some chairs, and of course good company! Don’t worry about bringing snacks, as they have on-site food vendors and goods in their very own market for purchase. You can even put together a charcuterie order to pick up upon arrival!
